- Organized an E-Quiz Purani Filmi Baatein: A Trip Down Memory Lane (under CINELITT) based on the classic 40s, 50s & 60s of Hindi Cinema on 22 June 2020.
- Organized national-Level Poetry Competition Lockdown Musings: Phase – I jointly organized by the Department of English and Department of Mass Media in association with industry partner KitabKhana on 31 July 2020.
- Department of Mass Media conducted its first Board of Studies Meeting to discuss and approve the revised syllabus of BMM/BAMMC under autonomy on 21 August 2020.
- Organized an online talk session titled Political Discourse in Hindustani Cinema (under CINELITT) by Dr. Gaurav Gadgil on the overt and covert political discourse in Hindustani cinema which played a ‘national’ role since 1947 by addressing the Indian masses; streamed live on the CINELITT Youtube channel on 21 August 2020.
- Organized a national-Level Poetry Open Mic Lockdown Musings: Phase – II jointly organized by the Department of English and Department of Mass Media in association with event partner KitabKhana on 30 August 2020.

- Organized an online talk session titled Ray and Ghatak: Milestones in Bengali Cinema (under CINELITT) by Dr. Nilakshi Roy on the legendary filmmakers Satyajit Ray and Ritwik Ghatak’s masterpieces; streamed live on the CINELITT Youtube channel on 22 January 2021.

- Organised a two-day event on photojournalism titled The Mind and The Lens under CINELITT on 19 and 20 August 2019.
- Organised a musical event titled Rafi Sahab: Jab Yaad Aaye Bahut Yaad Aaye under CINELITT, commemorating the legendary singer Mohammed Rafi and his evergreen songs on 31 August 2019.
