  • Organized jointly with the Department of History, KET’s V.G.Vaze College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous) Mulund (E) the Online Webinar on ‘Personal Happiness and Success for Institutional Well- Being’ on 4th July 2020.
  • Organized a Webinar on the topic of Suicide Awareness – “This too shall pass”. Webinar conducted by Ms. Latika Suryavanshi on the virtual platform of YouTube Live on 10th September 2020.
  • Organized a Poster Making Competition on the topic of “Suicide: A Baffling Mental Health Challenge” on 10th September 2020.
  • Organized a workshop on the topic of “Suicide – Decoding Suicide” on 13th September 2020 for SYBA and TYBA students.

  • Screened a film “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” under the Programme “Understanding Abnormal Psychology and Counseling Psychology through Films” on 20th July 2019.
  • Organized a meeting of alumni with the present TYBA students for sharing ‘Lessons Learned from Graduation and Post-Graduation’ on 10th August 2019.
  • Organized a talk by Dr Nilakshi Roy on Existentialism: A Literary Movement titled “No Exit without Dirty Hands: Existentialism in Literature” on 14th August 2019 for TYBA Psychology students.
  • Organized a visit to Global Vipassana Pagoda, Gorai on 22nd August, 2019.
  • Organized a three-day field visit to Ahmednagar from 28th August to 30th August.
  • Organized an event called PERSONA involving fun games for understanding concepts of psychology in daily life on 23rd September 2019.
  • Organized a talk on “Industrial-Organizational Psychology 101: The Way Ahead” by Mr. Kaustubh Keni, HR Officer – Corporate HR, Larsen and Toubro Ltd, Powai on 23rd November 2019.
  • Organized a workshop on “Decoding Suicide” by Ms. Latika Suryavanshi, Clinical Psychologist and Counsellor, Rustomjee Cambride International School, Dahisar on 14th December 2019.
  • Conducted 30-hour short-term course on “Thriving and Flourishing: Carving a Good life” from 23rd July 2019 to 7th January 2020.
  • Organized a talk on “Life through the Lens of Psychology: Applications of Psychology in Daily Life” by Ms. Chitra Kelkar on 14th January 2020.
  • Organized 30-hour short-term value-added course on “Anxiety and Depression: Twin Affliction of 21st Century” from 17th-27th January 2020. Forty four student participated in the course.
  • Organized field visit to various institutions at Hyderabad from 2nd – 7th February 2020.
  • Celebrated 14th February as a “Be Your Own Valentine” Day by inviting students to pick up positive messages from the department of Psychology.
  • Organized in collaboration with Women’s Development Cell a session on “Abnormal Uterine Bleeding” on 15th February 2020.
